Overview
We are partnered with a global pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Technical Project Manager (12-month contract, with potential extension) to join their Digital Technology Patient Solutions (DTPS) team. This role sits at the intersection of technology and scientific delivery, leading technology-driven projects that support patient-focused research and innovation. You will act as the bridge between digital teams and scientific stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high quality standard.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects within complex, regulated environments
- Ability to operate across both technical and non-technical teams, translating requirements into actionable delivery plans
- Strong experience in project planning, risk management and stakeholder communication
- Comfortable working across full project lifecycles, from initiation through to deployment and optimisation
- Experience collaborating with IT security and compliance teams
Hard Skills
- Project management within IT infrastructure and/or system integration environments
- Oversight of system deployments, upgrades, migrations and decommissioning
- Development and management of detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocation
- Risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution
- Reporting on project progress, governance and compliance requirements
- Documentation management and process optimisation, including automation where applicable
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stakeholder management across global and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and project challenges
- Proactive and organised approach to delivery

Qualifications
- HNC, HND or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in technical environments (e.g. IT infrastructure, systems integration)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management roles
- Relevant project management or technical certifications are advantageous
