Position Overview: As a Project Manager V, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of a critical 12-month project centered around SAP implementation, business transformation, and systems optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the project's objectives are met within scope, on time, and within budget. Your leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, process enhancement, and operational excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams, guiding them through various project phases from initiation to closure.
  • Scope and Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, milestones, and potential challenges.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently, ensuring team members have the necessary tools, information, and support to achieve project objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management efforts by guiding teams through the transformation process, fostering buy-in, and addressing resistance to change.
  • SAP Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP-related solutions, working closely with IT teams and vendors to ensure successful integration, configuration, and optimization.
  • Systems Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and systems optimization. Collaborate with internal teams to drive technology-driven efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to measure progress and success. Regularly report on project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budget and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and making necessary adjustments as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on project deliverable quality, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds established standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Project Management Expertise: PMP or similar project management certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 3 years leading SAP implementation and transformation projects.
  • Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry: Familiarity with biotech or pharmaceutical industry processes, regulations, and best practices is a strong asset.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of SAP systems, business transformation methodologies, and related technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and drive collaboration toward common goals.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing innovative solutions.
  • Change Management: Experience in guiding organizations through complex change management initiatives.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving project requirements.
