Safety Specialist

Location: Braine l’Alleud (hybrid working model)

Overview

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical company in their search for a Safety Specialist. This role will focus on supporting pharmacovigilance and patient safety systems, driving technology adoption, and helping deliver system improvements across a complex safety systems landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with Safety, IT, and external partners to enhance processes and support innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Support the implementation and management of safety-related systems.
• Drive process improvement and technology adoption initiatives.
• Partner with business, IT, and external suppliers to deliver system enhancements.
• Support investigations, system upgrades, testing, and user training activities.
• Contribute to validation documentation and release activities.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years’ experience supporting safety systems within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and practices.
• Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Knowledge of UAT execution, data integrity assessments, and system documentation.
• Experience working with safety databases and related technology platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology and system change initiatives within a regulated environment.
