Situated on a 100-acre site with 4500 employees, Campus hosts Operations, R&D, G&A, IT, and more. CPS, a pivotal part of Facility Management, undertakes around 60 engineering capital projects annually, ranging from £10k to £5M.

Role Overview:

  • Team Size: 45 in the CPS team, 4000 on-site
  • Projects: Varied projects, from carparks to complex Autoclaves
  • Tools: Utilize SAP systems for efficient project management
  • Flexibility: Encourage on-site work; 4 days on-site, 1 day remote

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Degree in an engineering-related subject
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years in Quantity Surveying

Responsibilities:

  • Develop class D and B estimates for project justification and budget sanction phases.
  • Use historic cost data to develop cost estimates, ensuring Basis of Estimate (BoE) captures all details.
  • Produce VoWD forecast, update monthly spend monitoring, and generate portfolio reports.
  • Collaborate on yearly phased budget creation and support lessons learned for cost estimate establishment.
  • Attend Project Kick-off meetings, lead risk workshops, and support project teams with contract management.
  • Manage the AZ preferred contract management system (CEMAR) and contribute to project reviews and audits.
  • Support project lifecycle activities, manage SAP/CATs, and be the main point of contact for queries.
