Our client, a leading Biotech company, is expanding its global IT organisation and is looking for a contractor to join them on a long-term basis (1-2 years freelance hourly paid contract - INSIDE IR35 ) in the United Kingdom. They are seeking a Cybersecurity O/T industrial expert who can play a pivotal role in safeguarding their cutting-edge laboratory environments. This is a Hybrid role. Your primary focus will be supporting the migration to a new site within the UK (move all R&D and MPU equipments - onboard systems (review of security) - extensive interaction with Business and IT stakeholders to create new policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and Scientific teams to manage and assess cybersecurity requirements.
- Identify and manage cybersecurity risks affecting experiment and laboratory control activities.
- Champion cybersecurity alongside innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of technological trends in research and development and industrial cybersecurity.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of OT Security Policy.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Degree in Security, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of combined experience in IT and Scientific IT disciplines with a focus on Cybersecurity.
- Experience in performing cybersecurity assessments on industrial/scientific instruments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ICS Kill Chain Model.
- Relevant certifications ie (GRID, CCSK, OSCP, IEC62443, A+, GPEN) or willingness to obtain them.
