IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Business Process Management (BPM)

Overview

A global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and optimise its Business Process Management (BPM) platform and workflow automation environment. The successful candidate will act as the technical expert for system administration, process modelling, workflow automation, integrations, user support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience supporting BPM platforms.
• Experience with workflow automation solutions.
• Background in system administration, application support, and business systems analysis.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Hard Skills

• BPM platform administration (iGrafx or similar).
• Workflow automation configuration and support.
• JavaScript development.
• BPMN, SIPOC, and process mapping methodologies.
• APIs, system integrations, and data management.
• SSO, Active Directory, and role-based security.
• Reporting, analytics, and KPI dashboards.
• Azure DevOps, Postman, and related support tools.
• Nice to have: Power BI, Fabric, Azure Cloud, SQL/Oracle, Java, Linux.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience supporting BPM platforms and workflow automation solutions.

Preferred

• BPM certification (ABPMP, CBPP, or equivalent).
• Experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
• Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or PMP experience/certification.
