Well established pharmaceutical company require a dedicated IT Project Manager to lead / drive the implementation of a new application Middleware project within the clients Ecco Laboratory system (analytical Data Hub). The driver behind the project is to Digitalize the entire system, using the right Middleware to make the process more efficient, reducing the possibility of errors.
The first stage will a pilot phase to implement 3 sets of equipment onto the Middleware so to make yourself familiar with the platform, you will work closely with vendors as the Middleware requires a lot of integration. The role will partner with various IT functions who have ownership of the implementation and design of the laboratory applications in scope.
The first Phase is expected to run for 1 year but there are additional phases to be implemented in 2023.
to carry out the assignment you will need experience of Data Appplications and a technical understanding of development Lab applications like LIMS, Electronic Notebooks, Chromatography system, Process Equipment, Reporting Solution, ERP QC.
an understanding of Laboratory equipment is also required, and how you integrate data, coupled with platform deployment skills and an understanding of how this would work with for example a Cloud platform.
Experience required
- 3-5 years IT project manager Pharmaceutical environment
- Laboratory data /equipment integration experience
- Knowledge of analytical equipment data and file types, data management and data integration capabilities
