Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in managing people processes and data across Europe and New Markets. The successful candidate will support our HR team by overseeing various HR activities, including talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and HR business partner activities. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless HR operations. Additionally, the HR Operations Manager will provide expertise in the design and enhancement of HRIS systems, particularly Workday, to optimize the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR business partners, offering expert advice and guidance on HR processes and policies.
- Manage core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, absence management, and benefit administration.
- Create and process new starter offer documentation and conduct associated onboarding activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise in HR processes, policies, and systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Support annual HR processes such as compensation planning and talent management.
- Participate in the design and testing of new Workday modules and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot system issues to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Perform data entry across various HR systems and manage employee files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and liaise with internal departments and third-party service providers as needed.
- Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR operations.
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant experience in HR Operations within EMEA, with deep expertise in Swiss labor law.
- Business fluency in English and German is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HR modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, and Onboarding.
- Interest and understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
- Customer service orientation with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Growth mindset with a focus on creating better experiences for customers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to identify critical situations and escalate when necessary.

- Degree education preferred.
