Global Submission Lead

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Engagement Status: Contract until December 2026

Overview

We are partnered with a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation and are seeking an experienced Global Submission Lead to drive the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of global regulatory submissions. This is a highly visible role requiring strong project leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and deep understanding of regulatory submission processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of global regulatory submissions
• Drive cross‑functional submission teams to deliver on agreed timelines
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and manage competing priorities
• Own submission governance including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and reporting
• Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain clear, effective communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
• Support onboarding and training on submission and project management processes

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of global regulatory processes and Common Technical Document (CTD)
• Proven project management expertise within drug development
• Experience using project tools (e.g. SharePoint, Office Timeline, Integrate or similar)
• Understanding of regulatory submission planning and execution
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Confident decision‑making in complex, fast‑paced environments
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and self‑management
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and resilient mindset

Experience & Education

• 5+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environment
• Background in a cross‑functional or regulatory role
• Degree in science, engineering, or a health‑related discipline preferred
• PMI / PRINCE2 certification is an advantage
