Financial & Control Support – Sites, Engineering & Facilities

Location: Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium

Engagement Status: Contract – 6‑month mission (extension possible)

 

Overview

We are seeking a Financial & Control Support professional to support large capital projects within a Sites, Engineering & Facilities environment. The role focuses on financial governance, cost control, and accurate management of POs and invoicing across project packages.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, track, and validate Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices
  • Liaise with Procurement, Finance, and Package Owners to ensure contractual and invoice compliance
  • Ensure invoicing workflows and financial procedures are correctly followed
  • Extract actuals from SAP and maintain project cost tracking files
  • Compare planned vs actual spend and support cost control activities
  • Prepare weekly PO status updates and monthly financial reports / KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records for POs, invoices, forecasts, and cash‑flow impacts
  • Support tracking of equipment deliveries to temporary storage when required

Hard Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial or project cost support
  • Strong SAP experience (PO creation, reporting, data extraction)
  • Proven experience in cost control and invoice tracking
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or capital project environments
  • Fluent in English

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering, Finance, Business, Life Sciences, or similar)
