Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement planning & scheduling processes for a project portfolio.
  • Understand and follow the CPS Planning Procedure.
  • Coordinate with PMs and project teams to establish specific project responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement a detailed planning approach for projects.
  • Lead the development of conceptual and detailed project schedules.
  • Perform technical schedule analysis and regularly report against project progress.
  • Review schedules from Contractors and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Lead project site visits to review compliance and progress, proposing corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the PM, QS, and broader project team to achieve project KPIs.
  • Coordinate with the project QS to ensure cost/schedule integration.
  • Assist in managing, controlling, and tracking the project cashflow.
  • Proactively review NEC Contractor Programme submissions and manage CEMAR when necessary.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in an engineering-related subject.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in projects and/or construction management.
  • Thorough knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead Plan-Do-Review (PDR) sessions.
  • Proven team player with a high energy level.
  • Strong drive, resilience, and passion for Project Control processes.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and other contract forms.
  • Experience using CEMAR or alternative Contract Management software.
  • Experience in contract tendering and administration.
  • Understanding of cost control and estimating.
