Pharmaceutical client in Belgium needs an experienced Data AI Team lead to join their dynamic IT Artificial Intelligence team for an initial 9-10 month mission starting in February 2024. The role involves supervising a team of 4-6 engineers, ensuring seamless project-to-operation transitions, managing project demand, and crafting strategic data & AI roadmaps with a focus on go-to-market initiatives. On-site presence is expected 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:
· Supervise a team of 4-6 data & AI engineers, overseeing projects and ensuring quality deliverables.
· Collaborate with support teams for smooth transitions from projects to operations.
· Manage demand for new projects, prioritising tasks and allocating resources effectively.
· Develop medium and long-term data & AI roadmaps, primarily focusing on go-to-market initiatives.
· Stay updated on industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
· Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
· Identify and address challenges during project execution, implementing innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
· Proven leadership in data and AI projects, preferably in pharma or go-to-market domains.
· Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics, and AI technologies.
· Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Proactive and results-oriented mindset, adept at prioritising and managing multiple projects.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on innovation.
