Clinical Fellow - Oncology

A geniuine opportunity to be part of a team at a leading private cancer treatment centre at the forefront of cancer care, working in a team of oncology specialists to develop a personalised private patient treatment plan, tailored towards patient unique needs and diagnosis.

As a Clinical Fellow/Specialty Registrar you will provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit.

  • Deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatients setting.
  • Be responsible for checking outpatient prescriptions and protocols and approving medication.
  • Establish great relationships with a large cohort of outpatients, as well as work closely with world-renowned experts within the medical field.
  • You will be responsible for medically assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies which may arise with the guidance of the consultant in charge.

This role is Monday-Friday, no night, no weekends, and no on-call.

  • Registrar Level
  • Knowledge of managing complications/side-effect of immunotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapies
  • MBBS medical qualification
  • GMC registration and current licence to practice
  • MRCP (Preferred)
  • Evidence of Specialist training in Internal Medicine, specifically Oncology and Chemotherapy
